INGREDIENTS:
- 2 cups new fenugreek leaves (methi), washed and finely hacked
- 2 medium-sized potatoes, stripped and diced into little 3D squares
- 1 little onion, finely cleaved
- 1 little tomato, finely hacked
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2-inch piece of ginger, ground
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red stew powder (change in accordance with your zest inclination)
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 2 tablespoons oil (ideally olive oil or any cooking oil of your decision)
- Salt to taste
- New coriander leaves for embellish (discretionary)
Directions:
- Heat the oil in a dish or skillet over medium intensity. Add the cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Add the diced potatoes to the skillet and sauté them until they become brilliant brown and are nearly cooked through. You can cover the dish with a top to sporadically cook them quicker, blending.
- When the potatoes are almost finished, add the cleaved onions and sauté until they become delicate and clear.
- Mix in the minced garlic and ground ginger, and cook for one more moment until the crude fragrance vanishes.
- Add the hacked tomatoes to the skillet and cook until they become soft and the oil begins to isolate from the combination.
- Add the turmeric powder, red stew powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt. Blend well and cook for two or three minutes to permit the flavors to mix.
- Add the slashed methi passes on to the skillet and mix well. Cook for around 5-7 minutes, or until the methi leaves shrink and mix into the blend.
- Once the methi leaves are cooked, sprinkle the garam masala over the blend and give it a last mix.
- Actually take a look at the flavoring and change salt and flavors if essential.
- Embellish the Methi Aloo with new coriander leaves, whenever wanted.
